Kabale Woman MP Roots for Responsible Parenting Among Married Couple’s

KABALE – Kabale District Woman MP, Hon Atwakiire Catheline Ndamira has highlighted the significance of responsible parenting for married couples during the 50th-anniversary celebration Mass of Mr. Banyezanki Simon and Prisika Kakwisi in Maziiba parish.

The event, held at St. Kiziito Maziiba Catholic Church, was presided over by Rev Fr Dr Abel Benomugisha from St Ignatius University Kabale.Mr. Banyezakyi Simon, the catechist of Maziiba Catholic church in Kabale Diocese, was recognized for his role.

Hon Atwakiire stressed that responsible parenting cultivates leadership values in children, shaping them into resourceful policymakers in the future.

Ndorwa East Legislator Hon Wilfred Niwagaba shared that, in collaboration with Hon Atwakiire, they secured a significant sum of 500,000,000 from the ministry this fiscal year.

The funds were allocated for the construction of two classroom blocks and five VIP latrines at Maziiba Primary School, which were damaged by rain.

The Mass also served as a platform to commemorate Independence Day and witness the holy matrimony of Mr. Rukundo Paulina and Ninsiima Rosette from Maziiba sub county, Kabale District.
