Stop Politicizing Godly Work – SDA Leader to Rukiga Christians

RUKIGA: Christians have been asked to stop commercializing and politicizing Godly work because God never offered any money to save this world.

 

This message has been said today by Pastor Steven Tumwesigye the Kigezi Adventist churches Representative while preaching the congratulation that had gathered on a fundraising function of Maheeru Adventist church in Kahunyira village Murambi parish in Rwamucuucu sub-county Rukiga district.

 

Pastor Tumwesigye revealed that most of the church activities have been politicized and commercialized and where most of politicians have used it as a platform to show off their personal interests.

 

He further encouraged christians never to attempt and part-time Godly activities with worldly acts but instead to work and serve God with a sacrificed heart if they are to enter the kingdom of God.

 

Eddie Mugisha the Rwamucuucu sub-county LC3 Chairperson on the same function commended the Maheeru seventh day Adventist church Christians and leaders for the work they have done in the community to spread spiritual morals most especially in fighting domestic violence which has contributed to the development of household income and educating sector.

 

About 10 million shillings and 43 bags of cement have been collected both in cash and pledges.
