KABALE – Kigezi Homeboys Football Club in Kabale District, is set to ignite the field in a highly anticipated football clash against Mbale Heroes Football Club in the ongoing Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) BIG League games.
In their initial encounter this season, Kigezi Homeboys F.C. suffered a setback, succumbing to a 2-0 defeat against Calvary Football Club at Midigo Playground. Undeterred, the club has strategically reinforced its squad with new signings, aiming to intensify their competition in the FUFA BIG League.
According to the statement released by the club, today’s game will unfold at Kabale Main Stadium, but with a unique twist behind closed doors at 4:00 PM. The club expressed its commitment to exploring every avenue to bring back the vibrant energy of fans, eagerly anticipating their physical presence at the next match day.
Denis Tushabe, the head coach of Kigezi Homeboys, reassures fans that the team is singularly focused on delivering positive results. Tushabe affirms that 24 out of the 30 squad members are fully licensed and ready to grace the field with their skills.
