KABALE – The management of Kigezi Homeboyz football club in Kabale district has launched fan registration cards in a bid to strengthen the bond between the team and its supporters.
The initiative aims to identify and unite club fans, fostering both physical and financial support for the team. The announcement of the fan registration cards was made today during a press briefing held in Kabale Municipality.
Julius Musinguzi, the chairperson of the club’s fan base, disclosed that the registration fee stands at UGX 20,000 shillings. The card includes essential details such as the fan’s name, gender, card number, and issuance and expiry dates.
Musinguzi emphasized that the card remains valid for one year, requiring a monthly subscription of 10,000 shillings, directed to the club’s account. This subscription allows fans to contribute financially and alleviate the challenges associated with managing players. He further noted that the monthly subscription grants access to the pitch for the club’s two home games.
