Matsiko Grant Scoops 2023 National Team Chance.

KAMPALA:

The Uganda Cranes team head Coach Milutin Sredojevic Michu has announced a 35 Man Provisional Chan Squad to be hosted in Algeria in 2023.

 

Among the Squad announcement is Matsiko Grant, a former Kabale based Kigezi Home Boyz football Club.

 

Matsiko’s name appears number 8 in full backs among the Uganda Cranes CHAD provisional Squad.

 

Matsiko currently plays for Uganda Premier League based club Wakiso Gaints as promising right back.

 

Matsiko signed a three year contract with the Purple Sharks with an option to extend a further year.

 

“It’s an opportunity for me to continue growing my career and being called on a national team is a new challenge awaits but am ready to take it on.” Matsiko says.

 

 

Matsiko is a technically gifted right back with a right balance to his attacking and defensive qualities that suits national team Squad. With good progress, he could be a lovely surprise to the Uganda Cranes.
