The Kabale Municipality Mayor Byamugisha Emmanuel Sentaro while speaking in an interview with thesourceug.com reporter revealed that cutting off of the padlocks comes after when a section of traders allocated themselves lockups without authorities’ knowledge.
Sentaro added that the revenue that will be collected in the market 15% shall go to security and cleaning, maintaining the market and the rest shall be shared according to the government act, 50% for the divisions,50% for central and this shall help to construct roads and others.
Athanasius Mujasi one of the  traders revealed that they were terminated from landlords to lockup owners or venders after the municipal council gaining a land title of the Kabale central market. Mujasi added that some traders are unhappy for being relocated for one lockup as they believed before to get more.
