NEWS – Lyamujungu Savings and Credit Financial Services Cooperative in Kabale District, has donated essential relief items to over 200 patients in various health centers and one hospital spanning Kabale, Rukiga, and Rubaare in Ntungamo districts.
The generous donation, which included soap, salt, and maize flour, was personally delivered to the appreciative recipients by Dick Byamukama, the General Manager of Lyamujungu SACCO.
The relief items were distributed to several healthcare facilities, including Kaharo Health Center III, Bukiinda Health Center III, Kakakunda Health Center III, Nyakihanga Church of Health Center in Kamwezi Subcounty, Kyogo Health Center III, Kamwezi Health Center IV, Rubaare Health Center IV, and Doctor’s Referral Hospital in Rubaare.
Among those benefiting from this initiative was Mugisha Macknon, a resident of Rubaare town council and a patient at Rubaare Health Center IV, as well as Kyenserikora Mediaus, a patient at Kakakunda Health Centre III, along with other patients from various health centers. These individuals, hailing from different healthcare facilities, expressed their profound gratitude to Lyamujungu SACCO for providing essential relief items that would help ease their food-related challenges. They pledged to share their experiences with others in their communities.
