“We know it’s your money, but please don’t withdraw and waste it or overspend as if there’s no tomorrow,” he advised.

Supervisory Committee Chairperson Ahimbisibwe Sam Barugahare, who presided over gift presentations in Kyangyenyi, Kakindo Town Council (Sheema), Rwentuha, and St. Kagwa (Bushenyi), encouraged members to remain steadfast in their personal and collective development. He urged them to apply for planned loans to avoid repayment difficulties and called on members to sensitize friends and family about joining Mushanga SACCO.

Chairperson of the Board of Governors, Bafaki Gerevazio, urged members and the general public to embrace a saving culture while cautioning against the pitfalls of irresponsible festive celebrations. “Indulgence in alcoholism or other risky behaviors during this season may lead to regrettable consequences, such as HIV/AIDS or criminal offenses like rape,” Gerevazio warned. He emphasized the importance of responsible spending and enjoyment during the holidays.

Speaking on behalf of the SACCO members, Henry Bamwine from the St. Kagwa branch, who won a cow, expressed heartfelt gratitude.

“We thank Mushanga SACCO for giving back to its people and for its transparent management,” he said.
