The suspect was apprehended from his hideout within the same locality after receiving intelligence.
The parents had left the girl alone at home to attend prayers, giving the suspect an opportunity to commit the crime.
The police have gathered vital evidence to support the charge against the suspect, and once the investigations are completed, he will be brought to court for justice.
The spokesperson, IP Mike Longole, emphasized the importance of prioritizing children’s safety by not leaving them unattended and entrusting them to a responsible person when necessary to protect them from potential dangers.
