Police Probes Sudden death of Kanungu Woman.

The police of Kanungu district are currently probing the sudden death of a 70 year-old- woman.

Asp Elly Maate, the kigezi region police spokes person has identified the deceased as Bradina Nyamushana a resident of Mpangangu upper cell Nyarurambi parish, Nyarurambi Sub county, Kanungu district.

Maate says that on Friday evening at at a round 5:00Pm, at the above address, the deceased  was found dead from her kitchen where  she was cooking.

Maate adds, police were notified by one Davis Owoyesigire, scene was visited and documented, body was taken to Kambuga hospital for postmortem.

He noted that inquiries are at hand to establish the cause of her death.

A statement of sudden death has been registered at Kambuga police station under reference number SD 07/12/11/2022.
