KAMPALA – Uganda Police has dismissed social media rumors claiming the arrest of National Unity Platform party President, Robert Sentamu Kyagulanyi aka BobiWine, as false.
Bobi Wine, returning from mobilization tours, was safely escorted by security from Entebbe to his home in Magere, confirmed via the Police’s Twitter handle.
Police clarifies that he arrived at his home around 11:20 AM, emphasizing the misinformation surrounding his arrest.
Business activities and movements along Entebbe road, within Kampala and Gayaza, continue without disruption, according to the Police.
