KABALE – The Member of Parliament for Kabale District, Hon. Atwakiire Catherine Ndamira, has emphasized the importance of unity among women in the district. She encouraged them to form and join groups to facilitate mutual learning and benefit from collective efforts.
This message was conveyed yesterday by Hon. Atwakiire Catherine’s political assistant, Mr. Alex Akampurila, during his address at the Annual General Meeting of the Bushabira Women Group Twetungure Enterprise. The event took place in Bushabira Village, located in Kibuga subcounty, Ndorwa West, Kabale District.
Hon. Atwakiire underscored the advantages of individuals coming together in groups, particularly in the realm of agriculture, where diverse skill sets can be harnessed through shared knowledge and experience.
Furthermore, in the same meeting, Hon. Ampeire Prize, the Lc5 woman councilor representing Kibuga subcounty and Katuna Town Council, urged people to actively engage in groups with the primary goal of personal and communal development, rather than undermining each other through inaction or non-participation.
