Speaking on behalf of the Minister of Finance (General Duties), Hon. Henry Musasizi, during the erection and inauguration of St Barnabas Parish in Katuna Town Council on Sunday, MP Atwakiire said the priest has a vital role to play in guiding families toward both spiritual growth and economic empowerment.

She urged Christians to embrace government programs such as the Parish Development Model (PDM) and the Uganda Women Entrepreneurship Program (UWEP), which are designed to uplift household incomes and eliminate poverty at the grassroots.
