KASESE – Two unidentified tourists and a guide were tragically killed on Katwe Road in Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kasese.
The vehicle they were in, with registration number UBF 303C, was engulfed in flames.
Hangi Bashir, spokesperson for the Uganda Wildlife Authority, expressed that the motives behind this act remain unknown.
Bashir mentioned in a press statement that efforts are underway to uncover details and identify the victims.
“Considering the vehicle’s destruction, accessing details is challenging. We are actively collaborating with the police to investigate the motives behind this heinous act,” said Bashir.
He added that it is truly unfortunate to lose individuals who came to explore the beauty of the Pearl of Africa.
