KABALE – Rt Rev. Gaddie Akanjuna, Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi on Thursday urged parents to support their children’s academic endeavors and nurture spiritual growth during a confirmation service at St. Paul’s Rukore Church of Uganda.
Addressing 200 Confirmants, he stressed parents’ responsibility in providing for their children’s education and cautioned against misconceptions that children solely belong to the government. Bishop Akanjuna encouraged the newly confirmed Christians to use the occasion for repentance and spiritual reconnection.

Preaching during the service, Reverend Peter Agaba Robertson emphasized the importance of unwavering faith in one God, urging Christians to face challenges with trust in Him. He discouraged seeking guidance from other sources outside the church, reminding believers that there is only one true God to whom they should remain devoted.
