RUBANDA – In a gracious gesture, the Rubanda District hopeful Woman Member of Parliament Anna Asiimwe, a businesswoman and a resident of Kakore in Hamurwa Town Council, made a significant contribution by donating 60 iron sheets towards the uplifting of All Saints Rushayu Church of Uganda in Rubanda District.
All Saints Rushayu Church of Uganda in St Mark Kagyera Church of Uganda Parish in Bufundi Sub County, Rubanda West County in Rubanda district has been in existence for 3 years without roofing according to the Lay reader, Lauben Besigensi.
Asiimwe who is also vying for Rubanda District Woman Member of Parliament seat also pledged to support the entire bricklaying process that will see the church attain permanent walls.
She also rallied Christians to support government programs and educate their children to fight illiteracy.

In his sermon during the service, the Parish Priest of St Mark Kagyera Church of Uganda in Kacerere Archdeaconry, Rev. Justus Byomuhangi warned Christians against acts of hypocrisy if they are to inherit God’s blessings.
He expressed concern about the rise of hypocrisy among believers, which hampers their spiritual growth and blessings.

David Byasigaraho, the Resident Commissioner of Zombo District and a synod member of St. Mark Kagyera Church of Uganda Parish, commended the efforts directed towards the church’s enhancement.
He recognized the church as a community-driven initiative that provides a spiritual platform for local believers to worship and praise the Lord.
