At 8 p.m. on Tuesday night, Morris Thembo, Robert Masereka, Kalismart Bahati, and one individual identified only as Mbale waved to their friends at Kitsutsu Trading Center, unaware it would be their final farewell.

Mr. Kibingo Thembo, a resident of Kyabisoro Village, told our reporter that he was following the motorcycle the deceased were riding before it collided with a Fuso truck at Bukangara Bridge.

According to Kibingo, the Fuso, registration number UAX 843 M, was speeding because it had failed to pump the gas needed to brake while crossing the bridge. When he saw the Fuso driver struggling, Kibingo stopped and waited for the truck to cross.

Mr. Hanning Bwambale, the deceased’s biological brother, explained that he had spent the whole day with his brother and was shocked to see him dead.
