KISORO – Police in Kisoro District are investigating a murder by shooting incident in Chahi Sub County.
According to Elly Maate, the Kigezi Region Police spokesperson, last night on 5/8/2023 at about 11:30 PM, a male adult identified as Dusabe, from Nyarurama village in Chahi sub-county, Kisoro District, was attacked by an unknown person armed with a rifle, resulting in serious injuries.
Sadly, Dusabe passed away on the way to the hospital. Maate said that homicide detectives with SOCO are being dispatched to the crime scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
The case has been registered at Chanika police station under reference number SD 13/5/8/2023.
