KABALE – The Kabale District Woman MP, Atwakiire Catherine Ndamira has today fulfilled her promise by donating 30 bags of cement, valued at Ugx 1 Million, to Mukarangye Church of Uganda under Kamuganguzi Archdeaconry in Ndorwa West County of Kabale District.
The pledge was made during the installation service of Rev. Dorcus Niwamanya as the Parish Priest of Mukarangye Church of Uganda. The installation service was presided over by Ven. Agrippa Kyarikunda, the Archdeacon of Kamuganguzi Archdeaconry in the Diocese of Kigezi.
Representing the legislator, her political assistant, Alex Akampurira, delivered the 30 bags of cement to the church. The gesture was warmly received by the Christians present, with NRM Hon Mbarara Eric, the Katuna Town Council Chairman, expressing his gratitude and appreciation for MP Ndamira’s timely delivery of the promised cement.
In a further act of kindness, the MP also donated 30 bags of cement to All Saints Church Rwemihanga – Mukarangye Parish, also situated in Kamuganguzi Archdeaconry and located in Kakoma Village, Katuna Town Council, Ndorwa West, Kabale District. This generous donation is intended to support the construction of the new church in the community.
Following the cement’s delivery, Rev. John Kankyiyanje, who is retired, expressed his admiration for Hon Catherine Ndamira for honoring her pledge during the critical time of construction. He acknowledged her significant impact on the community, not only in the religious realm but also economically and socially, as she has been known to donate animals and support various initiatives uncommonly seen from other leaders.
MP Atwakiire Catherine Ndamira’s commitment to her promises and her benevolence towards the community is highly commendable, and her contributions have positively influenced the lives of the people she represents.
