NTUNGAMO – Ntungamo Resident District Commissioner, Mr. Kadre Mucunguzi, hailed boda boda riders as vital security informants, emphasizing their role in identifying potential threats within communities.
Speaking as the guest of honor on October 12, 2023, during a friendly football match between Ngoma Boda Boda Association and Ngoma Dairy Farmers Association, organized by RUSCA LTD Kashenyi Branch, Mucunguzi highlighted the riders’ unique ability to track movements, making them effective sources of crucial information.
Encouraging financial responsibility, Mucunguzi urged boda boda riders to adopt a savings culture, emphasizing its long-term benefits for a secure future.
“These boda boda riders serve as a form of security. They can provide information on the movement of individuals, knowing who enters and leaves an area. However, remember, if you want a prosperous future, save rather than squander your earnings.
