Police in Rukungiri district are currently hunting for unknown driver of Motor vehicle registration number UBB 928 B Isuzu bus for Bwindi bus Coaches Company who injured several passengers in a serious single road accident.
ASP Elly Maate to the Kigezi region police Spokesperson says that the driver lost control at Rwabigangura corner due to high speed and unspecified number of passengers got injured and were rushed to different hospitals for treatment.
Maate adds, the accident occurred yesterday at about 9:50 Pm at Rwabigangura village along Rukungiri-Ntungamo highway on its way from Kampala.
Maate told Journalists that the motor vehicle involved in a single road accident is still at the scene pending to be towed up to the station pending iov inspection.
According to Maate, preliminary cause of accident was reckless driving by the driver of the bus who is in the run.
