According to Rt. Rev. Onesimus Asiimwe, the North Kigezi Diocesan Bishop, the convention will feature a variety of impactful sermons from both Ugandan and international preachers aimed at transforming the participants’ lives spiritually and morally.
While addressing the press at his residence on Kinyasano Hill in the Western Division of Rukungiri Municipality on Thursday, Bishop Asiimwe emphasized the need for parents to allow and encourage their children to attend the convention. He noted that many young people today have been drawn into negative influences and behaviors, and this convention offers a chance to renew their lives.
Bishop Asiimwe also urged parents to provide financial support to their children, as each participant will be required to pay UGX 25,000 to cover welfare expenses for the three-day event.
