KABALE: The Proprietor of Macro Hardware, Eng. Joram Baguma, has donated UGX 20 million to Kigezi Home Boyz Football Club in Kabale District.
“As Macro Hardware, we pledged about three years ago to partner with Kigezi Home Boyz Football Club to promote skills and talents, especially in football. It is part of our corporate social responsibility to give back to the community by supporting not only sports but also other community engagements,” Eng. Baguma remarked on Friday evening as he handed over a dummy cheque for the donation to the Chief Executive Officer of Kigezi Home Boyz Football Club in Kabale Municipality.
“As the Director of Macro Hardware, I feel prouder giving 20 million shillings to Kigezi Home Boyz Football Club than buying a big car. I am more satisfied when I buy jerseys or footballs for the community than when I buy a plot of land. We are truly passionate about sports and dedicated to developing Kigezi Sub-region,” Mr. Baguma said.
